I give personal attention to each of my clients. Before beginning work on any matter I will discuss your needs, goals and expectations with you, either in person or over the telephone, to determine whether I am the appropriate lawyer to handle the issue. I will not take on a matter unless I have the time to handle it personally and the experience to do it properly. Consequently a very high percentage of my clients are repeat clients. If I am not the right lawyer for the issue I will offer a referral to a lawyer who can handle it effectively. Prior to starting my own practice I worked in a large law firm and a big corporation. As a result I have the experience and training necessary to provide an extremely high level of legal services that are competitive with the services provided by many law firms. I also network with lawyers in other practice areas so that my clients receive the benefits of an interdisciplinary practice similar to that offered by law firms. Like many lawyers, I charge for my services on an hourly basis. However, because I work independently I can keep my overhead extremely low, which enables me to furnish my clients quality legal services at a much lower rate than the rates most law firms need to charge.
